The Montessori Beat

New Gisborne, Victoria - May 20, 2005 - Gisborne shoppers were entertained by The Montessori Beat today. The Cycle 3 class (aged 9 - 12 year) along with their music teacher, Judy Rose, brought their drums and recorders to perform for local shoppers. Shoppers stopped to encourage the young buskers first public performance. The performance was held to raise funds for new drums for the school. IGA are helping to raise money for the school by their ESP promotion where shoppers can donate their ESP points to the school.

The school continued to raise money for the drums and had raised over $2000 by June. Amid much excitement, their new drums arrived in August .
